No. We are committed to helping everyone from those struggling with sensory and processing issues to those looking to peak their performance in academics, athletics or work. Our goal is to address the functioning of a person so that they are happier, less stressed and anxious and performing at their best no matter the obstacle.
We work with children ages 2 ½ through adults based on the needs of the person. When we are working with children and teens, we always like to hear from the parents first in order to get a better picture as to what is going on at home, school and with peers. In doing so we are able to provide the most appropriate support and guidance in developing a plan of action. However, in today’s world we know meeting can be difficult so we provide office hours 7 days a week to meet in person or can do a phone/video consultation at a scheduled time.
The evaluations and assessments we conduct are based on the programs we offer at the clinic. They help to indicate which of the programs we offer will best address the issues that are being seen. Based on the testing we are able to give a clear plan of action as to the next steps to take. We do not do typical psychological or neuro-psychological testing but can refer you to appropriate practitioners.
Each of our programs has a specific time frame based on the protocols of that specific program. (Sensory Learning and Syntonic Phototherapy cover this on the Sensory Learning page.) However, our secondary lab programs typically run for 1 hour and 15 minutes each; while our groups range from 60 to 90 minutes depending on the size and method of the group.
Yes they can! After our assessment/evaluation we are able to see the strengths and weaknesses of your child and can help you advocate for them and determine what may be most helpful.
