Melanie has been part of our team for over a year bringing dedication and compassion to her role at Sensory Stepping Stones.

She currently holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in psychology from Mercy University in Dobbs Ferry and is pursuing her second master’s in mental health counseling at Mercy University and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2027.

She is currently a bartender/server at a local burger spot part-time and has been doing bartending/serving for over 7 years. They say bartenders make for the best therapists!

Outside of work, she enjoys small hobbies such as scrapbooking, sewing, watching Marvel movies and hanging out with her 2 dogs and 2 cats who are her absolute world.

Melanie strives to create a welcoming, supportive space where everyone feels comfortable and valued and thrives on building meaningful connections.
